Hannah Spiro is a DC-area native whose folk-pop melodies meet textual tradition in her contemporary Jewish tunes.  An accomplished singer/songwriter, she loves bringing music onto the bema. She has been composing music for over 20 years and has released three Jewish music CD’s that combine progressive midrash and interpretive liturgy with the musical sentiment of a 90’s kid raised on Fleetwood Mac and bubblegum pop. Rabbi Spiro, her husband, David Pfeferman, and their two small children are looking forward to celebrating Shabbat with Temple B'nai Israel and spending some time in Easton!
